About
Broadcast Sol founders Tammy Mabra and Deva Powell share a life path of truth-seeking and healing. They have been yoga practitioners and teachers for nearly a decade and spent time in the Peruvian Andes, the Amazon and Mexico studying the Shamanic healing traditions of their indigenous. Individually, they leverage talents in teaching, communication, visual and holistic healing arts.

Over the last 7 years Deva has taught and assisted hundreds of people, facilitating healing, awakening and empowerment. He has a unique intuitive capacity to help people move through negative fear patterns and blocks, and promote self-awareness and growth. In addition to Kundalini Yoga and Shamanism, Deva's classes, consultation and healing practice are influenced and informed by Universal Kabbalah, the PersonEssence system, Akaric Numerology, and Astrology.

Tammy began studying Shamanism and the Person Essence Psychology Model with Jose and Lena Stevens in 1999 and along with Deva, is a 2008 Graduate of a two-year intensive shamanic studies program followed by another year of advanced Shamanic Practitioner studies with Power Path School of Shamanism and master Shamans Jose & Lena Stevens.
With a sense of urgency to learn as much as possible from cultures that have survived thousands of years longer than western "civilization" has existed, Tammy has spent time in the Peruvian Andes, the Amazon, and Mexico studying the plant based healing traditions of their indigenous. As a shamanic healing practitioner she works with song / icaros, shamanic prayer, ceremony, meditation and visualization, art, nutrition, plant, herb, mineral and animal spirit medicine to facilitate healing and promote awareness, peace and balance. She combines love and appreciation with healing intent to enhance well-being, increase freedom and relieve suffering.
Shamanic Healing
Shamanic healing strives to create and preserve inner and outer balance and harmony and can be applied to the individual, community, nature, the world at large and beyond.Shamanic medicine is a tradition dating back some 25,000 years. In simple terms, the basic perspective shamanic healing assumes is that external reality, the material world, is a symbolic manifestation of the inner world, also referred to as consciousness or spirit. Furthermore, everything that exists is consciousness, is vibration, is energy, is imbued with it's own innate intelligence and unique gifts, often referred to as medicine. Simultaneously, everything that exists is interconnected, forming a web of life where even the smallest, most individuated part influences the whole and vice versa.
In this web of life, human consciousness is uniquely individuated with capacity for abstraction, reflection, memory and other complex physical, emotion and thought processes. As we mature, our essential nature often becomes clouded or distorted by our individual life experiences, familial and cultural imprinting.
Shamanic practitioners work with a variety of tools and techniques to identify and address obstacles, imbalances and distortions with healing intent to restore one to their fullest expression of essential truth and authentic power.
“The shamanic healing I had with Deva was personalized and included modalities and methods from different native cultures around the world. He helped me clear space around issues that were taking up too much of my time and consciousness. The feeling for weeks after the healing was one of connectedness and spaciousness at the same time.” ~Kristen Ude, DC, CCN, www.udechiro.com
"I have to admit I was a little skeptical since my Baptist faith does not embrace healing services... Tammy, the only words I could find to describe what you gave me was "hope". Your "love gift" was an olive leaf that said to me, "I have hope for you", "I have hope in you" and it was the start of the healing process for me... Healing is like peeling an onion because of the many layers & levels of healing that has to take place. Although the smoke & feather may mean something entirely different to healers, I thought of the smoke as a "burnt offering", the feather symbolized, to me, the wiping away of tears & sadness. When you prayed over me it was as if a "veil" lifted and I felt hopeful for the first time since my husband died. This little seed of hope has since grown and blossomed into joy and happiness. Time has a way of healing pain associated with grief but I am so very grateful for the gift of Hope that I needed so badly during my time of great loss. It was the combination of your sweetness & humility mixed with the purity of your love in ministering to me that started the healing process for me. Thank you again." ~SK
